IDEA
The United States Postal Service issued  the striking Cesar E. Chavez stamp on
April 23, 2003 in Los Angeles, California.
The 37-cent stamp is still available in some post offices, along with a souvenir first-day-of -issue envelope with postmark.
Have students design other stamps, highlighting moments of his life with captions and artwork.
